BANNIÈRE SYLPHI FOUNDATION NEPAL

A constant concern is to reconcile the social and the economic.

We can only move forward by walking on two legs: social and economic.
If you're economically savvy, social realities will catch up with you.
And if all we do is social, the economy stops.

1. CREATION OF A VEGETABLE GARDEN, EXOTICS FRUITS GARDEN FOUNDATION:

Planting of different varieties of European vegetables with the learning of transplanting and cutting. We will mix shapes and colours in the nursery and teach students to "LE JARDIN DES SAVEURS" to discover and manage the world's vegetable garden.

Their work will be productive and everyone can taste the flavours from elsewhere. All these vegetables can be produced also in the AQUAPONIQUE farm of the foundation.

Plantation of a fruit garden including European berries and shrubs: currant, blackcurrant,
raspberry, strawberry, blackberry, grape, colocynth.

2. CREATION OF A PEDAGOGICAL FARM WITH A BANK OF SEEDS.

We are preparing a new project "THE PEDAGOGIC FARM" in two parts:

  • The culture side.
  • The domestic animal side.

In this educational farm, there will be:
- an enclosure for each variety of animals, rabbits, ducks, chickens, etc. ...
- a relaxation and drawing class.
- a bestiary.
- a large playground.
And a whole structure of information and exercises for accompanying classes.

Regarding the “cultivation” dimension, we will prepare plots of different varieties of vegetables, flowers or berry fruits and build a seed museum with the information and posters. The seeds will be placed in transparent pots.
- Seed bank
- Small museum on the animals present, posters, food ...
- The enclosures
- Playground
- Work and leisure classes

Small classes will be received in small groups. We will teach them to approach them, to feed them, to maintain them ...

3. PROJECT OF COOPERATIVE

DEFINITION OF PROJECT

Staff and group of people
→ These people must work together and in harmony with the group.
→ Many activities will be inserted in this project, and these people stay a long time to learn their possibilities for augmentation of Agricole production and wrestle against the insecurity of food in fighting for their land.

OBJECTIFS:

We must reduce the poorest life through this act of working together in groups, and contribute to amelioration by selling the condition of life of the village.

THE COOPERATIVE IS YOUR COOPERATIVE, WITHOUT YOU, THERE IS NO COOPERATIVE

This project cooperative is a project of development and we want to do a Pilot Area by this foundation in this district. It must be unique so we need serious people in this action and knowing that a project needs time also. These persons will be volunteers and follow the rules. Everybody who will participate will be the beneficiary. This project is economic, if everybody works correctly, will increase Agricole production and their salary and their life.

The farmers must understand the necessity of this cooperative, it is important for the future generation.
We must follow the programs and manage all the activities together to see progress.
The success of the project depends on everyone. All will have responsibilities.

We must share every idea:

→ Research of possibilities
→ Execution and time to realise.
→ Tools necessary.

We can teach everything, and share our knowledge with senior staff and people → Everybody can do it.

4. CREATION OF AQUAPONICS FARM AT THE FOUNDATION:

What is aquaponics?

Aquaponics is a form of integrated aquaculture that combines a plant culture in "symbiosis" with fish farming. It is the droppings of the fish that serve as fertilizer for the cultivated plant. The word "aquaponics", a translation of the English word aquaponics, is a portmanteau formed by the fusion of the words aquaculture (raising fish or other aquatic organisms) and hydroponics (growing plants with water enriched with minerals).

5. THE WOODEN TRADES CENTRE.

In this centre, the following subjects will be taught: FURNITURE: The Carpenter Building, Technician Joiner Agencies, Carpenter seat, and the Cabinet Restorer of antique furniture. WOODCARVING: Ornemanist Sculptor, Round bump. WOODTURNING, TECHNICAL DRAWING, ART DRAWING, THE HISTORY OF ART.

This training centre will allow me as a teacher trainer to share my knowledge with all those who would like to learn one of these trades of wood. Young people who wish to follow these technical studies of creative manual activities, coupled with theoretical courses will in the future be able to transmit this know-how and thus remain established in the village. I bring all my know-how, my pedagogy, and the support of technology to discover their talent, to select their professional orientation best adapted to their taste or personality. Develop their manual dexterity, and perfect their appreciation and awareness of the material and the architectural environment in which they live.

Acquire the notion of the time needed to complete a job whatever it is. The workshops give meaning to the training through the actual application of courses in geometry, calculations, drawing, compliance instructions, ribs, and the use of machine tools, power tools, and hand tools that capture their attention. The professional and personal follow-up of my apprentices is my priority. According to the number of young people, I would receive in training, after the execution of basic exercises to test their capacity and their interest, I would direct them to three distinct activities to diversify their chances of insertion shortly and avoid the number of labourers in a single activity at the local level. Give them responsibilities, and teach them to trust them ...

I have also received applications from trainees applying for internships under the patronage of UNESCO.
